Business Centre Benefits From Revolutionary Air Freshening Plaster

maxit airfresh, the light activated air-freshening wall and ceiling finishing plaster has been specified for use at The Heath Business & Technical park, in Runcorn, an established base for 160 British and international companies.

Using photocatalytic technology, maxit airfresh reduces volatile organic compounds, airborne pollutants and odours, converting them into harmless components, substantially improving air quality and promoting good health.

The amazing properties of the high-tech plaster that enable it to eliminate pollutants and airborne odours from a room, make it ideal for use in rooms where everyday odours can build up, such as the conference rooms found at The Heath.

Building owners SOG Ltd chose to specify white airfresh in a stippled finish. The product is also available in a rilled finish and can be coated with a special compatible paint in a range of 99 colours.

maxit is now using a conference room at The Heath, complete with the airfresh wall coating, as its UK test bed to prove the effectiveness of the product. Tests will be carried out over the coming months to prove the products’ benefits and the refurbishment of further rooms at the business park, using maxit airfresh, are planned.

In addition, maxit has also supplied its self levelling ABS 200 and its fast set ABS 317 fibre reinforced floor screeds for use in the restaurant hall in the main building at The Heath. The products, which were specified by contractors ProPrep, provide a fast-track solution for durable, flat, smooth floors.
